We got a bill today for Shoshanna’s January GI visit. Apparently the insurance didn’t feel the need to, you know, pay it. Guess who I get to have a phone call with tomorrow? Just in time for her NEXT GI appointment next Thursday, of course!
UPDATE: Blame the USPS, or the slowness of bureaucracies. The money was on the way from the insurance company when the doctor’s office decided to bill us. Two phone calls, all solved. Hooray!

Something I learned when I was training in medical billing: Some insurance companies reject a percentage of claims for no reason, expecting people to not fight it. Definitely have it resubmitted to the insurance.
