The Continuing Adventures of SuperPreemie

We’re still alive…

Posted on: April 18, 2010

… just wickedly busy.  We bopped out to Boston to see Troy and Lisa last weekend and pretty much hung out, went and played in the sensory gym at Lisa’s new business (a private pediatric OT clinic – pictures of us all playing here), and ate lots of food.

The school year is winding down for all of us – Matthew and I each have less than a month of classes left and the big projects are beginning to hit even the kindergarteners.  With the PaperworkEvery kid at Shoshanna’s school has to do a “creativity fair” project.  For hers, she designed a combination step stool and box.  This is completely logical if you’ve ever seen her try to get something out of her closet – which she accomplishes by climbing on top of the rubbermaid tote that we keep her too-big and out-of-season clothes in.  She was very proud of her creation, even if there were quite a few tears in the process of building it.  We’ll go Thursday evening to see the projects from the whole school (PK – 10th grade) on display.  She’ll be building an IMPROVED version (with separated storage and a ladder in the back) for the invention convention that’s coming up in a couple of weeks.

In other news, March for Babies is ONE WEEK from today!  We just found out that our team is not going to go from us plus a whole crowd to just us by our lonesome this year, as at least one set of friends will be joining us.  Won’t you join us in spirit by donating?
