These Project365 pictures are cracking me up!

Thank you so much for your encouraging posts over on my 31-weeker’s blog. I’m just starting to realize that now that she’s home from the hospital, past her due date, and, as far as the medical community is concerned, a success story, the hard part may just be beginning.

This may sound a little weird, but reading about former preemies who are still a little behind or different than their peers is hugely comforting right now. It means that if I’m sensing that Claire isn’t typical, I might not be crazy. And if there are some lasting effects of her prematurity, there will still be a lot of joy in parenting her, and a huge support network of other preemie moms.

Thank you!
