… and I MISSED IT!

Posted on: August 26, 2005

Shoshanna has learned how to sit herself up. She’s now done it twice that I’m aware of. This morning she was playing on the floor and I looked away for a minute and next thing I knew, she was sitting up perfectly straight, looking a little bit surprised. I half-saw her do it the second time; I caught the very end of it. I think she’s actually pushing herself up, not from her side, but from her tummy – tucking her feet up under her somehow and pushing up with her arms. I’m sure I’ll actually catch the whole process sometime very soon.

I’m so excited hearing that. I can’t wait to see her again next week. Love you guys tons,
Grandma

WOW!!! That is awesome!!! Sitting up was one of the hardest things for my preemie son to do. It took him forever. We had PT and OT coming to the house 2x a week working with him. Next thing you know she will be hiding in the clothes rack at Macy’s, and running away when caught!
