Happy Second First Birthday!

Posted by: Sarah on: January 6, 2006

Yesterday was Shoshanna’s “second first birthday” – one year after her original due date. We didn’t do anything exciting to mark the date, but I thought it would be fun to take some new pictures with our old friend Pickles.
First, let’s review…

November 19, 2004 (just under 2 months old):

I discovered the secret to Shoshanna’s banana aversion. It wasn’t a banana aversion so much as an objection to the commercial baby bananas, which quite honestly smelled exactly like banana-flavored candy. Visits from family, and loud boys.

Posted by: Sarah on: October 17, 2004

Shoshanna had visits from her Grandma Fran, Grandpa Harry, Uncle Josh, and Aunt Jacy this weekend. On Friday she weighed 791, on Saturday she weighed 804, and on Sunday she surpassed her birthweight, weighing in at a whopping 836 grams!!!! We also arrived at the hospital on Friday evening to discover that they’d moved her [...]

Eating again

Posted by: Sarah on: October 12, 2004

When we arrived at the hospital, Soshanna was about to get her first breast milk since Friday afternoon sometime. They’ve started her back at the beginning, with 1 ml of milk every 6 hours. They stepped her up pretty quickly last time, and I imagine that if she shows no negative effects this time they’ll [...]
