Two weeks’ travel…

Posted on: August 10, 2009

We’ve been all over the place for the last two weeks.  First we were in Maine with the Tenney family plus our friends Sam, Keet, and Maya for a week.  We had a lot of fun – the girls played together very well 90% of the time.

Shoshanna said that her favorite thing was playing in the lake. She loved it most when I dug a big hole and they proceeded to fill it with water.

Shoshanna also got to meet two new-to-her Tenney family members: My uncle Martin and relatively distant cousin Betty (by my math she’s Shoshanna’s first cousin twice removed).

After a bit of an adventure in downtown Boston, we were home for about 36 hours before turning around and driving to Delaware where we met Cora and Grandma picked Shoshanna up for the week.

Matthew and I stayed behind to help the new parents out with our utterly charming new niece.

And now we’re back home again.  Shoshanna is out of school for the next two weeks and we are going to try not to drive each other too insane.
